Pass the DORA Register of Information validation the first time
RegisterBench runs the official validation rules and the technical checks over your register while you work, shows what changed since the register you filed last cycle, and turns a rejection notice back into rows you can fix. You keep the register here from one cycle to the next - and you can see who runs the service before you buy it.
Product: through the validation, and kept afterwards
Building a register from an empty sheet is the part you can get done for free in several places. What follows it is not: passing every check, understanding a rejection notice under time pressure, and having the same register - with its history - ready when the next cycle starts. That is what RegisterBench is for. It builds too, when you have nothing to import.
What it does
- Guided creation. A wizard per template, in plain language, for people who do not write code: it asks for what the template needs and writes the register for you.
- Import. Start from an existing workbook, from a CSV export or from last year's reporting package instead of from an empty sheet.
- Validation while you build. The official validation rules run against your data as it grows; every finding points at the row and the column that caused it, so it can be fixed where it was entered.
- Identifiers checked against the public register. Legal entity identifiers are looked up in the public GLEIF data instead of being trusted as typed.
- The package. One export produces the reporting package. The export is deterministic: the same data exports to byte-identical files, with a checksum you can record.
- Year over year. This cycle is compared with the previous one, so you can see exactly what changed before you file.
- When a register comes back rejected. Load the feedback you received, and the error codes in it are mapped onto the rows and columns that produced them, so the remediation window is spent fixing rather than searching.
- Your data leaves whenever you want. A full export of everything you entered works in any account state, including an expired one.
What it does not do
- It does not file anything for you. There is no connection to any supervisory portal; you download the package and submit it through your own channel.
- It does not decide which of your functions are critical or important, and it does not classify your arrangements for you. Those judgements stay with you and your advisers.
- It is not legal advice and it does not interpret the regulation for you.
- It makes no promise about how any authority will treat what you submit.
Where the difficulty actually is
In the dry run run by the European Supervisory Authorities, 947 registers were analysed. Of those, 6.5% passed all the data quality checks, and 86% of the data errors were missing mandatory information. Converting a spreadsheet was not the hard part - filling it correctly was.
Source: European Supervisory Authorities, "DORA Dry Run exercise summary report", published after the dry run of 2024. That report is part of the frozen evidence corpus this product is built against.
How it works
- Wizard. Create a register and fill the templates through guided forms, or import what you already have.
- Validation. Run the rule set over the register, work through the findings row by row, and re-run until it is clean.
- Package. Export the reporting package - a draft as often as you like, then the final one when the register is ready.
- Year over year. Next cycle, start from this year's package: pre-filled, with a difference report against what you filed.
Pricing
| Plan | Net price per year | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Trial | 0 EUR | One organisation; full building, import (workbook, CSV, last year's package), the complete rule set, identifier lookups and draft export. No final export and no rejection assistant. No card, no time limit. |
| Standard | 1 490 EUR | One organisation (individual register); users not limited; final export not limited within the cycle; snapshots and the year-over-year difference; import of last year's package; rejection assistant. |
| Group | 2 490 EUR | Standard plus consolidated and sub-consolidated registers (several covered entities); up to 3 registers in the organisation (separate submissions); priority in the support queue during the season. |
| Advisory (boutique) | 990 EUR per client register (min. 3) | Multi-organisation access for an advisory boutique; demo sandbox without a time limit; co-branded materials; an entry in the partner directory; one collective invoice per year. |
- Where the paywall is. Building, importing, validating and draft exports are free. Only the final export needs a paid plan.
- Founding-10. The first ten customers of the first season pay 990 EUR (Standard) or 1 690 EUR (Group) in exchange for permission to use a testimonial and logo and for two asynchronous feedback sessions; renewal is at the list price with the price lock below.
- Price lock. The price on the day of purchase stays frozen for as long as the subscription renews without a break; after a break the current list price applies.
- How you pay. All prices are net, in EUR, for the whole European Union. Payment is handled by Paddle as merchant of record: Paddle adds VAT or applies the reverse charge against a valid VAT identification number, and issues the invoice. Card or bank transfer against that invoice.
FAQ
Is this another validator?
No. It validates, but validation is a step inside building, not the product. You can also bring a finished workbook in, work on it here, and export the package from it.
Do you submit the register for me?
No, and deliberately so: the product has no connection to any supervisory portal. You download the package and file it through your own channel.
Does it replace an adviser?
No. The product handles the mechanics - fields, dictionaries, keys between templates, identifiers, packaging, comparison with last year. The judgement calls stay with you and your advisers.
What happens to my data?
It is stored in the European Union, and you can export all of it at any time, in any account state. You choose the mode when you start: seasonal, where working data is deleted a set time after the final export, or continuous, where the register is kept live all year. The same price either way.
Do I get a proper invoice?
Yes - from Paddle, which is the seller of record for this product. Card or bank transfer, VAT or reverse charge against a valid VAT identification number.
In which languages does it work?
English and Polish, both in the application and on this page.
